Via Crucis is a devotional act, the expression of a total love that projects itself beyond its own reality and its protagonists, whoever they may be, to transcend the ecstasy, beatitude, sorrows, and ruptures that define it. A whole love that ultimately chooses the light of having existed over the dismay of no longer being.

I
You are the warmth
Of my entrails,
The blood of my life,
You flow Like the vein of gold
That tears the flank
Of the mountain
Vanquished and fulfilled.
Then I welcome you
To make you
Burst forth even more beautiful
In this light
That waited only for you.
II
Slip into my mouth
A breath of you
In amber sweetness,
In a flurry of flavors.
I lie down
Upon a dream
Never dreamed,
Across a path
Long dreaded.
I lie down
Upon your desire,
And there is no elsewhere
I wish to reach.

Fingers, yours, mine,
Seek each other in the night,
Writhe in pain,
Vowing
An eternal embrace.
Fugue of words
In the updraft
Of a warm,
Nurturing eternity.
IV
Cradle of stone
For wild bodies,
Nuptial chamber
For broken souls,
Theater of shadows
To the dancing night,
Surrounded by the gazes
Of multiple presences.
Waves of desire
Intoxicate the bodies,
A flux of tears
Waters the hearts,
Caressing the dream
Of a new morning.
